Tues Sept 24, 9 am – 6 pm, at Olympia State Capital Building, 416 Sid Snyder Ave SW, Olympia; Climate Emergency Gathering Hosted by Protectors of the Salish Sea and others. Our Climate Emergency Gathering at Sta,chas village site of Nisqually people (Olympia State Capital) September 24th will also be the welcoming celebration point for walkers completing our 4 day 40 mile "Walk to Protect & Restore the Salish Sea 2019" for Salmon, Orcas and treaties. See affiliated event info at https://www.facebook.com/events/2652829461396403/ The time is now for our State representatives to declare a Climate Emergency and then act upon that declaration by drafting Emergency legislation terminating all current fossil fuel expansion projects and proposals in the State of Washington such as Tacoma LNG (Fracked gas), Kalama Methanol (Fracked gas), Tacoma Par Pacific (Tar Sands oil import expansion), Puget Sound Pipeline (Tar Sands oil import expansion), North Seattle Lateral Pipeline Expansion (Fracked Gas LNG). The time is now to bring breach the 4 dams on the lower Snake River. The time is now tell Wa.
