DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, October 4\, 2026 • 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM Pacific \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister for the Workshop- Free\n\n\n\n\n[https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/ef-Vl1RzQgexMpzekfmy3Q#/registration]\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Western Washington Fellowship of Reconciliation (WWFOR) invites you to join an interactive online workshop examining a range of scenarios that could disrupt\, undermine\, or challenge the electoral process before\, during\, or after Election Day. \nBased on the work of Freedom Trainers and Daniel Hunter’s book\, Election Defense Scenarios\, this workshop will help participants think critically about potential threats to democratic processes and explore constructive\, nonviolent responses that individuals and communities can undertake. \n \nWhat Will Happen?\nParticipants will: \n\n\nReview a wide range of election-related scenarios and global examples of nonviolent tactics successfully used elsewhere to defend democracy aginst that type of attack. \n\n\nVote on the possible scenario each feels is most important \n\n\nJoin breakout discussions with others who share their interests and concerns. \n\n\nExchange ideas\, resources\, and strategies. \n\n\nExplore practical\, nonviolent responses to possible challenges\, including those in Hunter’s book \n. \n\n\nTopics for Discussion\nBefore Election Day\n\n\nVoter roll purges \n\n\nNew voter ID requirements \n\n\nMail-in ballot deadline changes \n\n\nBallot drop box sabotage \n\n\nElection fraud investigations \nElection Day\n\n\nVoting location confusion \n\n\nMass voter challenges \n\n\nElection-day disinformation \n\n\nArmed militias at polling places \n\n\nFederal agents at polling places \n\n\nAfter Election Day\n\n\nRecounts and ballot curing \n\n\nEfforts to overturn vote counting \n\n\nRefusal to certify election results \n\n\nBallot seizures \n\n\nCongressional refusal to seat certified winners \n\n\nParticipants are also encouraged to share additional scenarios\, concerns\, and educational resources relevant to these issues. \nWhy Attend?\nMany people are concerned about threats to democratic institutions but are uncertain how best to respond. This workshop provides an opportunity to learn from others\, strengthen our collective understanding\, and consider constructive actions that support a fair and transparent electoral process. \nWhether you are an experienced activist\, a concerned voter\, or simply interested in understanding the challenges that could arise during the election cycle\, your participation is welcome.
