DESCRIPTION:Tues Jan 21\, 1 pm Pacific time\, Zoom \nPlease join Fellowship of Reconciliation for this month’s Gathering Voices discussion\, when Ariel Gold will engage Mr. Baldemar Velasquez\, a prolific activist\, labor organizer\, and man of faith. In this meeting\, Mr. Velasquez will share invaluable insights from his experience of organizing throughout the years\, including his founding of the Farm Labor Organizing Committee with his father in 1967. We are excited to hear his thoughts on the legacy of his friend\, co-founder of the United Farm Workers and former FOR member\, Cesar Chavez.
