First Tuesday War Protest, Seattle

Tues Aug 4, and subsequent first Tuesdays, 11 am to 12:30 pm, in front of the Federal Building, 2nd & Marion, downtown, Seattle; First Tuesday War Protest. It is sponsored by Veterans For Peace, West Seattle Neighbors For Peace and Justice, Seattle Fellowship of Reconciliation, EarthCare Not Warfare, and the Downtown Peace Vigil.  After four months of protesting endless wars by Zoom, we will be back in front of the Federal Building in Seattle for the August First Tuesday protest of war and militarism.  Our public, visible protest is back on the street, with the new reality.  Everyone will wear masks and we will all social distance for each other.  August is the 75th Anniversary marking the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  Our signs will say NEVER AGAIN and no renewed testing of nuclear weapons.  info  seattleantiwar@gmail.com
