Oonaugh Foster-Bill attends college in Olympia, Washington. She has worked with the Sunrise Movement, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, 350 Seattle, and Stop The Money Pipeline.

I’m interested in working further with Washington Legacy Forest Defense to protect local parcels of Legacy Forest in WA State.

1) Goal: organize students at the Evergreen State College, and possibly other students from WSU and UW, to pressure college administration to completely divest from receiving funds from Legacy Forest clear-cuts.

2) Legacy Forests provide crucial biological reservoirs of diversity that can’t be replicated in mono-crop forests

3) I want to reach out to student organizers/leaders from Evergreen and other colleges to create a coalition of people willing to fight for protecting Legacy Forests.

Most recently I am organizing a Song Circle at Evergreen.
