Voices of the 99%: Speak, Sing & Play Your Peace: Nov 18

Nov 18 at the Old Foundry in Bellingham at 7:30 pm. Bring Our Billions Home concert featuring Sweet Medicine, Dana Lyons, Sean McGrath, and others. There will be a $3 cover charge. This is a “people raising” event, not a fundraising event, highlighting WWFOR’s Bring Our Billion$ Home campaign. The campaign calls for spending our dollars on meeting human needs, not feeding …war and greed! We want health care, education, and green jobs, not wasteful wars!
Artists will raise their mics and instruments to creatively call for change!
This event is thrown in collaboration with Whatcom Action Coalition (WAC) and The Old Foundry.

If you can’t make this event in Bellingham, there will be a Seattle version of it on Friday, December 9th at 7:30pm at the Gypsy Cafe in Fremont, featuring artists from Pocket Panda and Hip Hop Occupies!

Contact kaeley@wwfor.org for more details – if you want to be added to the list of artists featured at either of the concerts, if you want to volunteer, or if you simply want to attend and want to know more about the movement!
