15th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr.: Redeeming the Prophetic Vision. January 17, 2 pm, a Zoom event with Tacoma organizers. info bit.ly/redeemMLK We gather to honor the visionary life and work of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., especially his radical call for peace and justice for ALL people. The Conversation is partnering with Associated Ministries and Urban Grace Church to bring this vent to the community. We seek to re-imagine unity across difference; renew our shared commitment to the path of social justice; and reconnect with peace and justice activists and advocates across our communities. Redeeming the Prophetic Vision is about: Bringing together a broad cross-section of the Tacoma / Pierce County community. Participating in a creative restatement of Dr. King’s life and work with a focus on the prophetic declaration of a call for peace and social justice which was central to King’s life. Drawing our community’s attention to evidence of injustice in our own midst and to the need for corrective action. Registration link is at the website bit.ly/redeemMLK
