Ground Zero Center event to Ban Nuclear Weapons

Saturday, May 8, 9 am – 4 pm, participation by Zoom and/or in person starting and ending at Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action, 6159 Clear Creek Rd. NW, Poulsbo WA 98370;  The Ground  Zero Center for Nonviolent Action annual Mother’s Day event with speakers Timmon Wallis and Vicki Elson, who co-wrote “Warheads to Windmills” and are playing a key role in the movement for a nuclear ban, the TPNW.

Please join Ground Zero Center as we celebrate the original intention of a Mothers Day for Peace.

This year we will celebrate virtually and in person, and will have special guests Vicki Ellson and Timmon Wallis, co-founders of NuclearBan.US. NuclearBan.US is a 501c4 non-profit organization committed to the total elimination of nuclear weapons and the use of all those wasted human, financial and political resources to finally and seriously address the climate crisis and global inequality through a Green New Deal.

Longtime nuclear resister, Jesuit, member of the Kings Bay Plowshares 7, and current prisoner of conscience in the Federal prison system, Steve Kelly may also make virtual guest appearance if his busy schedule  permits.
