HONORING HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI: STAND WITH LIFE AND AGAINST NUCLEAR WEAPONS, Poulsbo

Sat Aug 8, 2 pm, through Sun Aug 9, 5 pm, at Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action, 16159 Clear Creek Rd. NW, Poulsbo, WA 98370

A weekend of community and activism including workshops, speakers, nonviolence training.  The keynote speaker Saturday will be Abby Martin, creator of the film “Earth’s Greatest Enemy.”  Music will be provided by Dave Rovics.  Sunday activities will include Keynotes by Bo Jacobs, Author, Nuclear Bodies;  and Vincent Intondi, Author, African Americans Against The Bomb.  The weekend will include direct action at the Bangor Naval Base for those interested.

  • 1:45 Leave for Bangor Base
  • 2:15 Arrive at the Base + Take Action
  • 4:00 Conclude Action at the Base
  • 4:30 Closing Discussion/Debrief
