POVERTY ACTION MLK LOBBY DAY, Olympia

MLK Lobby Day 2025: Clearing the Pathway Out of Poverty. The Statewide Poverty Action Network’s annual MLK Lobby Day will be in person again this year! Please join us. MLK Lobby Day is a free event.
Lobby Day programming is divided into two parts. In the morning, you’ll learn about our state’s legislative process, policy solutions to issues facing Washingtonians living on low incomes, and how to share your story to influence your lawmakers to act. Then, you’ll work together with neighbors from your legislative district to plan out and practice for your lawmaker meeting.
After a hearty lunch, you and your group will head over to the Capitol Campus to meet with your lawmakers and advocate for policies to end poverty in our state!
