Reading “Theology for a New Millenium” by Walter Wink.  Note that this is a book club, but you are still welcome to attend if you have not done the reading.

Though an Islamic Liberation Theology with Dr. Iskander Abbassi;  he will begin each session by reading an excerpt and provide a reflection from the selected chapters on the reading schedule (see below), followed by a few questions to consider, and open group discussion. We are so excited to see what emerges from these sessions on such a powerful text, and we hope you can join us!

Reading Schedule:  July 9th, Chapter 8 – Epilogue

We know people’s lives are very busy, and we want to make sure that everyone gets to contribute to this exciting, dynamic discussion series. The reading schedule is meant to provide maximum flexibility so people can join meetings when they’re able. That being said, please be mindful of how much you’ve engaged the text prior to the meeting as you’re participating in group discussion to ensure the most vibrant conversation possible.
