Washington Against Nuclear Weapons (WANW) is a statewide coalition that aims to reduce and eliminate all components of the 2 trillion dollar rebuild of the US nuclear weapons arsenal. Our ultimate goal is to prevent nuclear war and abolish nuclear weapons worldwide.

Special speaker retired Navy Nuclear Submarine Commander Tom Rogers, a leader with the Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action. will speak to the fallout of NewStart’s expiration with a particular focus on the Trident submarines deployed at the Kitsap-Bangor base in Washington state.
