Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility presents a report from International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW) by Dr. Steve Overman.

40 years ago IPPNW won the Nobel Peace Prize for their work on nuclear disarmament,  In October 2025, WPSR board and nuclear weapons abolition task force member Dr. Steve Overman attended the 40th IPPNW World Congress in Nagasaki, Japan. Please join us for a social event and report back from Steve’s trip, where he met with concerned health professionals from around the globe and visited the two cities destroyed by the atomic bombings of 1945. This will be in person with the presentation streamed over Zoom
