Hastings will adapt the presentation he gave at the 2019 James Lawson Institute on “Inoculating Against Violent Flanks: Nonviolent Discipline and Messaging”.  Hastings has worked for years with the Portland Peace Team, which provides nonviolent peacekeeping assistance to organizers of nonviolent protests. Recent events in Portland, Seattle and elsewhere bring fresh relevancy to this topic.
