Carly Brook from RESIST US-led War will bring members of the Seattle group — Nikhil, Charlotte, and mb — to talk about the world-wide anti-war RESIST Movement (see https://www.resistusledwarmovement.com/ ) and their work in Seattle. The Seattle group has been especially involved with teaching and actions about cutting the ties between the University of Washington and Boeing. They are currently doing protests with the United Front for Palestinian Liberation in Seattle against the current situation in Gaza and the Middle East.
NOTE THE TIME CHANGE THIS MONTH. We will meet at 6:45 pm for announcements, including information about how to support the WA Poor People’s Campaign Mass Mobilization on March 2nd in Olympia. Presenters from RESIST will join us at 7 pm.
