Procession of the Species and Luminary Light Parade

Sat April 20, 4 – 10 pm,  Main street in Anacortes, Commercial Ave, Anacortes, WA 98221

In celebration of Earth Day join us for a Procession of the Species, Luminary Light Parade, and a street fair in Downtown Anacortes. The main street will be shut down! Join in with a costume or luminary or simply come and visit! Commercial Avenue will be closed from 4-10 pm. There will be educational and interactive booths happening between the Procession at 5 pm and the Luminary parade at 8 pm. Join us! This event is designed to build community connection through art, music and dance! Honor our connection and the web of life! This event is a partnership among Transition Fidalgo and Friends, the Guemes Luminary Light Parade, and the Downtown Anacortes Alliance. Because of our shared vision and goals, it is also part of our Tax Day to Earth Day event.
